[description from facebook event]

There will be a peaceful rally here in Winnipeg, Manitoba to seek justice for Eishia Hudson and all of the other indigenous lives who were taken by Canadian police. The rally will take place on Friday, August 21st, 6 pm at the Manitoba legislative building ending with a march to the public safety building.
The family will be in attendance as well as special guest speakers.
Canadian police and RCMP have been known to disproportionately target BIPOC. Too many lives have been lost at the hands of officers, including Eishia’s.
When will enough be enough? We need to stand in solidarity and fight for justice for Eishia and show them we will not be silent until justice is served for Eishia and all the other BIPOC lives lost at the hands of law enforcement. Eishia Hudson was only 16 and had her whole life ahead of her when her life was tragically taken.
The family is asking for donations to help cover the costs of water bottles, masks, security, poster supplies, cloth, tobacco and other supplies that will be needed. Donations can be sent by e-transfer to honoureishiahudson@gmail.com
