Did you know that many of the MEJC volunteers got involved after reading about MEJC on the website? If you’d like to help out occasionally, sometimes, or lots, there are always things to do that would suit you right down to the ground.
Some volunteers discover that they really enjoy getting out and talking to people on our door-to-door canvas, while others, who prefer more solitude, contribute with research or data entry. Plenty of room for both!
Do you enjoy having a few friends over to talk about the latest science, political developments, interesting green energy ideas, and cool stuff? We can help you plan a kitchen table conversation all about Energy East, Energy Justice and Just Transition.
Maybe you can make great signs for rallies, or hold one end of the MEJC banner during a walk.
You might be really good at organizing a whole letter writing campaign, or a simple evening gathering where people can write letters with help from MEJC volunteers.
Whatever it is you are good at (even if you aren’t sure yet!) MEJC welcomes you, and offers training and mentoring to help you feel wonderful about yourself and everything you do.
