RISE for the Climate: Stop Line 3

On September 8th, thousands of rallies will be held in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us.

In Manitoba that means we need to #StopLine3 and tar sand expansion.

Please RSVP Below!

Workers are in Manitoba and new Pipelines are going into the ground while Enbridge leaves the old ones in the ground to inevitably decay. Indigenous led prayer camp Spirit of the Buffalo Camp has been established outside Gretna to Stop Line 3. Lets gather in Winnipeg in solidarity with them and others all around the world. In addition to Line 3, the cancelled Energy East is once again being talked about more and more. Now, more than ever, we need to come together to demand alternatives to dangerous pipelines while drawing public attention the dangers of Line 3!

Join us as we hold our local leaders to account and demand that they walk the talk on climate action.

When: Saturday September 8, 1:00pm

Where: Meet at the front of the Manitoba Legislature - We'll walk together through ManyFest and down to the Sherbrook Street Festival. This will give us the chance to connect with people who are not yet part of the Energy Justice movement and are unaware of what is going on in Manitoba.
