MEJC Volunteer Orientation

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Where: Downtown Commons Multipurpose Room - 320 Colony Street

This short, participatory evening will give you an opportunity to plug in to the Energy Justice movement in Manitoba by introducing a wide range of volunteer activities and campaign actions.

We'll present our organizing structure, talk about the strategies for our Line 3 and Hydro campaigns, go over our plan for the spring and summer, and take time to answer any questions.  After this, we'll break into groups based on the different parts of our organizing (events, media an communications, outreach etc.) and talk about specific next steps and schedules for volunteering.

Our orientations are designed to accommodate everyone. You'll be able to find a fun and important job to take on that fits with your time, availability, and skills and interests.

We need lots of people to get involved with our volunteer organizing efforts if we're going to win the fight again big oil and environmental destruction.
